U13 Division (2011-2012) *Current Grades 6-7* FORMAT: 9 vs 9
Dates & Times:
Tryout #1: Thursday, April 25th, 2024 (6:00 to 7:30 PM)
Tryout #2: Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 (6:00 to 7:30 PM)
- U13 boys and girls competitive teams will play in the Highland District Soccer League.
- Games are played throughout the Highland District, including Guysborough, Antigonish, New Glasgow and Truro.
- Travel is required and it is the responsibility of the players and parents/guardians.
- This program will include one to two practices per week and a weekly scheduled game (home/away).
- The team will participate in tournaments outside of league play.
- All games played in this division will keep score.
- There will be league playoffs and a chance for our team to make provincial championships.
- All games played in this division will not keep score. This decision was made as a part of Canada’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) plan, which focuses on skill development and having fun, while diminishing the focus on winning.
*Players must be registered with the U11/U13 CO-ED House League Program and paid with GCU in order to attend try-outs*
*Players that make this team will be required to pay an additional fee of $100. This fee is to cover additional costs such as Highland Soccer League fees, insurance, field bookings, referees, tournaments, etc.
U11 Division (2013-2015) *Current Grades 3-5* FORMAT: 7 vs 7
Dates & Times:
Tryout #1: Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (6:00 to 7:30 PM)
Tryout #2: Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 (6:00 to 7:30 PM)
- U11 boys and girls competitive teams will play in the Highland District Soccer League.
